The community partnership between Hillcrest Commons and Crosby Elementary School continues to grow. On Thursday, January 18th it was Spaghetti night – even though it was not a Wednesday (for those of you who remember Prince Spaghetti night on Wednesdays!) Hillcrest Commons’ Food Director and staff went above and beyond providing a Spaghetti Dinner to the students and their families. More than 120 people received a meal of salad, spaghetti and meatballs, bread and butter, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Crosby’s teachers served the food and the children had the opportunity to play a game of Bingo and win a book of their choice. More exciting activities are planned for the community at Crosby School this month so stay tuned!
